WHICH AIRPORT SHOULD I FLY TO, AND WHAT IS THE RECOMMANDED WAY TO GET THERE?
Prior to your arrival in the Philippines, it’s essential to complete the eTravel Card. Upon landing at Manila Airport, a complimentary 30-Day Visa on Arrival awaits you. Your journey then continues with a connecting flight to Siargao Airport. Once you touch down in Siargao, we will be there to welcome and assist you.
WHICH KITE SIZE DO I NEED ?
During the Kite camp we use kite sizes from 7 to 14 for a versatile experience. Be ready for any day, whether it’s windy or a bit calmer – we’ve got you covered!
WHICH METHODS OF PAYMENT ARE ACCEPTED IN SIARGAO?
Preferring payment in Philippine Peso is advisable. ATMs are readily available in the cities for currency withdrawal, and certain restaurants also facilitate transactions through credit cards for your convenience.
DO I NEED TO WEAR A WETSUIT?
The water temperature is around 27 to 28 °C warm and makes Kitesurfing without Neoprene just comfortable. A long lycra will protect you from the sun.
IS SIARGAO GENERALLY CONSIDERED A SAFE DESTINATION FOR TRAVELERS?
Siargao Island isn’t known for being unsafe, but it’s essential to be mindful of the economic conditions in the Philippines. Given that many people face financial challenges, it’s advisable not to leave your wallet unattended on the beach.
CAN I COME WITH MY PARTNER OR FAMILY?
Kitevoyage welcomes everyone, including family members who may not be keen on sports activities. They are encouraged to join the entire holiday experience and stay with us.
HOW ABOUT THE INSURANCE DURING YOUR KITE CAMP & SURF TRAVEL ?
We are not liable for you or the material. Make sure that you have insurance for traveling abroad. If the equipment is damaged, there is an insurance policy with the VDWS, the Safety Tool.
CAN I CANCEL?
Yes, cancellations are permitted. However, please note that the payment for the flat and buggy is non-refundable if canceled within four weeks before the start of the kite camp.
