Lago di garda

THE Kite spot

A windy paradise

The Kite Spot is located in Northern Italy, renowned for its breathtaking beauty and vibrant kiteboarding scene. The wind patterns at Lago di Garda are influenced by the surrounding mountains and the lake’s unique geography. During the summer months, the lake experiences a phenomenon known as the “Ora” or the “Pelér” wind. The Ora is a thermally driven wind that blows from the south in the afternoon, while the Pelér blows from the north in the morning. The wind strength at Lago di Garda varies depending on the time of day and the season. During the summer months, kiteboarders can expect winds ranging from 15 to 25 knots, providing optimal conditions for beginner lessons or experienced freestyle tricks.

What to do in Lake Garda ?

Lago di Garda offers something for everyone. Whether you look for relaxation, sporty adventure, strolling through the charming town, or tasting Italian cuisine, you’ll find something suitable for you. Our Highlights are definitely the Oldtown of Arco and Malcesine for having dinner or strolling through the city. Otherwise, we can recommend you go climbing, hiking, or biking in the area around the lake. To explore the culture and history we advise you to visit Sirmione, Malcesine, or Riva del Garda. There you will find a couple of castles and a stunning old town. On a rainy day, you can spend your day in one of the wellness centers near Lago di Garda for physiotherapy and rehabilitation treatments. Terme Virgilio is known as the “health spas” suitable for the whole family, including children. The Sirmione thermal baths are one of the most famous ones on Lake Garda.
